Not to be a downer on a friday afternoon, but these cute little smiley guys (seriously, google them, they are so smiley! It's cute/creepy!) are near extinction because humans are jerks basically. Draining their lakes, polluting their waters, eating them, and experimenting on them. Gives me a major sadface.
