I met a wombat when I was doing some prac work at a wildlife place during vet school and he formed quite an attachment to me. I would give him a scratch and he would do a happy dance. It turned out that was actually a courtship dance. LOL
Awww, what a cutie! Those backwards pouches are kind of hilarious. When you were looking at research pics, did you see the ones of the baby kangaroo and baby wombat?!? SO ADORABLE!!
