Thank you so much for reading this year, during this daily project. It's been fun and challenging and I'm oh so glad that I did it. I drew animals I had never heard of before and probably wouldn't have drawn, and it has made me a better illustrator because of it. Hopefully someday I can gather everything into some sort of published book that I can be proud of. I don't plan on doing another 365 project this year, but I am really excited to spend more of my time on more detailed illustrations. I plan to work on some bigger pieces each month and I'm psyched to share more as these progress!

Freebies! Holiday Bear Gift Tag!

I've been busy finishing up things here before I head home to celebrate the holidays with my family, but I still wanted to put together some little gift tags to stick on those gifts. I made a little freebie that you can download and print yourself to spruce up your wrap-job.  Just download the template (right click-->save as, and then open up in Acrobat. The print quality is better printing from Acrobat versus your web browser for some reason.) Get some white card stock and print away! I just cut them out and taped them onto my packages, but you can also use a hole-punch on the top to attach a festive string to tie to packages.

So, the downfall of doing a 365 project is that I don't really blog any other things besides that...and I miss that! I'm so happy I did this project, it was really good for me to draw everyday, fun to have new subject matter, and HEY I learned stuff too! But my point being, I have other fun stuff to tell you about! Like, I went to Thailand for 2 weeks (betcha didn't even know I was gone; I planned ahead to post things so I wouldn't get terribly behind...) I have a bunch of photos and stories that I want to share, and I think I am probably just going to wait until after the holidays are over. Start the new year fresh! I want to start blogging more of my everyday things (and hey, I draw other things too!), new projects, and some other fun stuff, so that will most likely be my focus in the new year. More on this to come!
