She tries real hard, but she can't. Finished new painting last night; watercolor and gouache. I'm turning old doodles into paintings, if you noticed. I'm also thinking about what I should submit to the Communication Arts Illustration Annual competition this year. The deadline is March 11, but I always stress out about it, procrastinate, and then they extend it for another two weeks. I'm just gonna save myself the trouble and submit early this year. :) Not sure what yet though...

I totally know what you're talking about: the stress and the procrastination! (I just finished up and turned in a drawing for a t-shirt contest a couple hours before it was due) Anyway, good luck on submitting your piece early! :)
