Dumplings are so cute! Seriously! I found some frozen wonton wrappers that were vegan in an asian market have been so excited to finally make some dumplings. I used local tofu, local baby bella mushrooms, red onions, and garlic for my filling, sauteed in some tamari. These were so easy with the frozen wrappers, but I think it would be fun to make my own dough next time. I ate them both ways, boiled and seared. Side salad of heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and radishes in a simple red wine vinegar/olive oil/sea salt/pepper dressing. Yum yum yum.
